We had a lovely dinner here at Mari Bruny! It’s unusual to find a place that can do both a butter chicken and ragu so well but this place does both beautifully! Staff were lovely and were able to accomodate a booking for us last minute. I believe the kitchen closes at 6:30 so don’t leave it too late to visit.
Best bacon, egg and avocado roll we have ever had! Fabulous coffee topped the meal off. Be patient as staff are working their tails off but worth the wait. A pleasant surprise!
Good food quality is .I loved the lamb shank it was so good that I wanted to ask them how it was cooked but the place was too busy so I didn’tFriendly people and very helpful
I had a nice experience at Mari Bruny! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Being someone with an onion allergy—a detail that has often complicated dining out, the team went above and beyond to accommodate me, ensuring I had something safe and delicious to eat. The salmon with salad they served was simple yet beautifully prepared—fresh and flavorful. To top it all off, their cappuccino was excellent, rich, and creamy.Outside, the seating area provided a tranquil reprieve, a space where one could linger over conversation or a book.
Mari Bruny is a nice little cafe for breakfast. The bacon egg roll is delicious, and the toast is great. When I visited in the morning, there weren’t many people, making it a peaceful spot to enjoy a meal. The only downside is that parking can be a bit confusing; there’s little to no space in front of the cafe. I ended up parking at the church beside it. Coffee is nice. Recommend to start your bruny island exploration by having the breakfast here.
The food was absolutely delicious. The vindaloo and butter chicken were both perfectly cooked and tasted authentic. I also tried the crispy skin salmon, which was incredibly fresh. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!
Possibly the highlight of our visit to Bruny Island. Menu is quite limited, there’s your classic western dishes but a few Indian dishes too. Had the Linguini & Beef Vindaloo, both were really tasty. Check out the Daily Special board.
We were driving to Adventure Bay and looking for a nearby restaurant. This cozy restaurant caught our eye. The host was lovely and answered all our questions. I had the veg pasta which was delicious. My wife had the prawn curry which she said was very fresh and tasty. Would definitely return if we get the chance!
